 Travel to Singapore

Hello all. I hope this is not a repeated post, not sure. Did not find anything on cursory search. I will be traveling to Singapore 6/2023 on a family trip and will have some spare time to practice. Would it be ridiculous to bring my 1 year old R-13 prestige along given concerns about the humidity and climate differences from where I live in Los Angeles. Thanks very much, Paul Schneider MD.

I do not think it would be a problem- professional musicians travel oversees often. Of course, you will need to keep the instrument in the cabin, not in your checked luggage

I don't know if you're the type of player to adjust reeds, let alone with a reed knife, but it can be easy to forget (if you do) to remove said tool from your clarinet case otherwise coming with you into the plane's cabin.

One of the reasons I like the reed geek in lieu of a reed knife is it's not likely to raise alarms with the TSA.
