Bots are hijacking threads!

Hey all,

it seems like many threads were hijacked by bots, probably with automatically created users with a single post

Please never click on any links included in these posts, as they are potentially harmful

It has been happening more on the oboe board for some reason, but I just deleted one this morning from this board and between Mark (Charette) and me we take them off regularly when we spot them.

If anyone sees one that we've missed, email me or Mark to let us know, and, as sonicbang warns, don't follow the links the messages contain.

Whew!!

I've just gone through a dozen of the most recently updated threads and deleted bot-generated responses with links to various game pages (and one escort site) from each one. It was quite a storm of them. If I've missed any, please let me know what thread to look in.
