I recently got a Buffet Crampon E12F Clarinet and in the case, it had a pamphlet saying that only their mouthpiece can be guaranteed to be in tune with the instrument. I already have a Vandoren BD5 mouthpiece, and I was wondering if one is better or if it's just a preference. I appreciate any advice you may have, thanks!

What the pamphlet says (if you're paraphrasing it accurately) is hogwash.

It's basically preference, but based on your preference in a few different characteristics. Compare them, since you have both, for tone quality, flexibility, your comfort in playing each and (certainly) intonation. Which works better for you? If you play in a band or orchestra, try each one in the group. Your preference needs to be based on all those qualities.
