Looking for Geraldine Coles

This is a bit of a long shot, but this kind of approach HAS worked at least once in the past...
Do any of the UK people here know of a clarinet player called Geraldine Coles, whose father was the postmaster in a town called Liphook? Those are the only details I have.
I'm asking on behalf of a clarinet friend who hasn't had any contact since 1975, a very long shot but any information gratefully received!

The Clarinet and Saxophone Society of Great Britain might know where to find Geraldine Coles.
