I'm a b-flat alto clarinet player who switched over to e-flat contra-alto clarinet last year and am now switching again to b-flat bass clarinet and have 16 days to get ready for an audition at a high school I'm applying for and desperately need tips to improve quickly. if you have any advice big or small for me I would greatly appreciate it.

I've never heard of a Bb alto. Can you post a pic or a link?
Unfortunately it's unlikely you can improve much in just 2 weeks. But on the bright side you're in a pretty small club as a bass or alto clarinet. As long as you don't bomb completely you'll be fine. So concentrate on the fundamentals - tone , scales, time, sight reading and of course your prepared piece.

Put a little more of your mouthpiece in your mouth, than on your altos.Let us know how you get on.
Good luck' Alan

I would suggest to simply practice, using what you already know. Instinctively you know how to play an instrument higher pitched and another lower pitched. You've got this.
