 Evette and Schaeffer Identification
Author: rlages

I've read a lot on the E&S serial number discussions in other topics, but I've got this odd situation on a E&S apparently a lot old with 4 digit serial looking like hand engraved.

Could anyone help me to identify this clarinet? Some tips on the year of fabrication and model equivalence.

thanks a lot

Can you take closer photos of the logo? I can't really see what it says.

it says Evette and Schaeffer. Paris . Modele buffet crampon . It hasn't master model written anywhere.

Regardless of the serial number, it will play like a student-level instrument.
The age of it may not matter as much as the condition.
