Hello everyone.
I am a new user to the site.
For thirty years i have played with a SELMER CL300 resonite/ plastic clarinet with 18keys (the eb lever key has added with a patent).
Few days ago I purcased a wooden clarinet with 18 keys (the eb lever key has added with a patent).
On the bell there is a trademark made by SML PARIS FRANCE.
On the upper joint up from the keys there is a polygon and inside this there is the word CORET and under this PARIS FRANCE.
The serial number is H8644.
Some questions
Coret model is made by SML?
Coret is other brand?
Does anyone know the year of construction?
What type of level is this clarinet?
Thank you very much for your response.

A Selmer CL300 plastic clarinet is a Student Level clarinet.
I would assume at some point the bell was broken, and aomeone put a SML brand bell on the clarinet. Since it fitted and worked they kept it. But SML is a different brand than the Selmer USA CL300 clarinet.

Can you post some photos of the wooden clarinet?
Also, who has the patent on adding a LH Ab/Eb lever? I've added them as well as various other keywork modifications to several clarinets and still haven't been sued by anyone yet.
There is an aftermarket Ab/Eb lever that can be fitted to Buffets and the parts are held on with grub screws, so that's the only design that may have a patent.
