A Selmer CL300 plastic clarinet is a Student Level clarinet.

I would assume at some point the bell was broken, and aomeone put a SML brand bell on the clarinet. Since it fitted and worked they kept it. But SML is a different brand than the Selmer USA CL300 clarinet.
