charles bay would be proud. not humbled . i finally scored the last peice of bay gear that made up his bass clarinet upgrade kit. mpc-neck and ligature. the mpc was easy -the neck almost impossiable!. i had to buy an entire leblanc bass to get it. it was well worth it as no other single peice of gear has ever transformed my bass playing as the bay neck. the ligature -just came today but first impression is positive. how ever i must confess i didnt stay on the bay mpc long as i scored a selmer c* thats just magic. the bay is just too open for me at this stage in life

Bay made great stuff. I played his mouthpieces years ago. Later on he started making much more open mouthpieces, which were not my style, so I went on to other things. His mouthpieces and equipment do show up on ebay, reverb and other sites often at great prices.
