ID on this Bonade

Hello,

Can anyone put a date to this Bonade ligature I found for bidding on eBay? It's labeled as a vintage and the screw shapes do seem to indicate it's an older model, although the front logo has the newer stamping on it.

hi,

It seems to be pretty much identical to my first Bonade lig...although a lot more tarnished. I bought it in 1979 at GBP 1.60

these arnt much different from whats avai today. the only vintage one thats sought after and valuable is the german silver ones. these play much better than the brass bassed ones. dale fiddel is the definative expert on these and you should watch his utubes on bonades
