See Luc Jackman's 2005 dissertation on Early Clarinet Performance and the Frederic Blasius Nouvelle Method de Clarinet (the dissertation is available free online at UMI.)
His references are good though centered on French music.
See references also in Colin Larson's book The Early Clarinet: A Practical Guide (Cambridge).
Neither researcher mentions anything as historically dominant as the Quantz or Leopold Mozart.
