Just saw this, do you think It might be a good one for classical repertoire or definitely for other kinds of playing? https://www.thomann.de/gr/caneve_clarinet_brass_mouthpiece.htm#bewertung&tad[triggeredBy]=fx-product-box%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20fx-product-box--no-margin&tad[triggeredByEvent]=click&tad[productIndex]=4&tad[slideIndex]=1

It's very pretty but I worry that it would end up tasting strongly of brasso (metal polish)

You could make a brass mouthpiece yourself and save €355. This guy has had a go :

It doesn't seem that easy for me at least. Also don't have the resources.. Interesting mouthpiece! Don't you think?

I certainly found it interesting that with what seem like relatively rough ideas and measurements he was able to do that. What really surprised me was the way he left the tip rail, square cut on the interior, so not so much a ‘rail’, more a platform. Yet it still made a sound.

No. I thought he demonstrated it at the end, though that might well be another video by him. There’s also a two-parter he’s done on making a mpc. In one, you can clearly see the tip rail and hear him play, though off camera and not a great sound. Sorry, but while interesting those videos are not that great that I’d want to watch them again to identify which one those things are in.
