It should be fairly informal, due to the pandemic. There will be about four adult students from the school performing; I'm playing "Carol" from Gerald Finzi's Five Bagatelles.
I'm feeling moderately nervous, but am hoping that I can remember to enjoy the music making.
(Edited to add that I've been studying clarinet for a little over two years. It's a beast!)

My teacher is affiliated with a local music school, which is turn affiliated with a local university.
The recital went well. Let's not speak of the fact that my mouthpiece wasn't in my clarinet bag and I had to borrow one of my teacher's.

Hi Beth,
That sounds like a resounding victory. Well done!
(I think we get extra points for coping with the unexpected, so that was a double win, once you take the mp difficulty into account.)

Once i forgot my music, and ended up having to play a trumpets part.
Did you enjoy playing infront of people?

Playing in front of people was ... okay. I do tend to get nervous, but at least it was a very small, supportive group. I much prefer playing as part of an ensemble, where I feel less "exposed."
Yikes about forgetting your music! I guess that all these experiences make us tougher, right?
