This guy, Max Opferkuch, deserves more views of his videos. Well done!

Max is an excellent player who has contributed to this list in the past as "maxopf." He may still be studying with Yehuda Gilad in Los Angeles. Check out his YouTube performance of the Saint-Saens Sonata, among others.

Max is quickly making his way to the big leagues of clarinet...
He's studying with Yehuda Gilad at the Colburn Conservatory. Man is beast at clarinet and very nice person in real life.

I decided to log onto the BBoard for the first time in years, and was mighty surprised to see this at the top of the list. Thanks for the kind words everyone! A lot of my recent Youtube videos have been things I put together just for fun, to cure quarantine boredom — hoping to get some more "serious" performances up on the channel soon!

I've been fangirling all over your videos, Max. I'm an adult learner, and am inspired by what you've done, serious or not. In particular, it's wonderful to hear the possibilities of Baroque music on the clarinet -- that's right up my alley!
