I'm sure this has come up before despite my failed attempt to find it via the Search facilities of the board. I'm sorry.
How does one achieve the effect on this board of incorporating a prior poster's thoughts in a responsive message, similar to the following example--assuming this isn't done manually?

Click on <Quote> under the reply window. You'll get the entire post you're replying to, but you can edit out what you don't want to include.
