I'm pretty sure she's been playing S+S clarinets since BEFORE they introduced the redisigned E/B key, she certainly spoke highly of them in 2002 (the one time I've met her).
I can't remember what year S+S started the new set-up for that key as standard on the German/Oehler clarinets, but it really is quite an improvement imho.
What is remarkable about this performance however is not what clarinet she is playing, but the ideas and individuality she brings to the music while still working within borders of style and taste.
There are so many recordings and performances of the clarinet literature that are either completely lacking in any originality or character, and some here and there where the player is trying to demonstrate individuality but the result is gauche.
Sabine Meyer falls into neither category!
