 Hi,

As luck would have it, I was due to sit my grade 3 clarinet exam tomorrow, and the whole ABRSM exam system has been called off for COVID safety - from tomorrow.

I've decided to unilaterally award myself a pass and move on to Grade 4! :-)

I wondered if I could just thank all the patient souls here who helped me to learn to cross the break legato though, because I really can definitely do it now, and it was not an easy thing to learn.

I hope all of the other exam candidates are smiling on through, and tackling those new scales. :-)

Thanks again!

Jen

 Hi Ken,

Thank you very much for that, and for your wonderful advice. My piano accompanist said I really nailed it my last rehearsal with him and I was so thrilled about that.

I'm on to The Wizard from Mr Benn now, which I absolutely love. Also fantastically high altissimo notes, which sound surprisingly lovely on my instrument. I think it's going to be good. :-) Skype lessons are the next challenge.

Best wishes,

Jen
