As a sax player and doubling on the flute, go with a more open mouthpiece. Look at the Vandoren website and find that really open mouthpiece that interests you. The BD5 is open, but others are even more open. Sax mouthpieces aren't too resistant so you might feel too restricted with the Vandoen M13.
