I always learn a small and extremely useful tidbit on Michael's videos that may not be the major focus of the entire opus. On this one, my nugget came very close to the end of the video and it concerned... :-). But the tip will be used as I woodshed my way through the Bach Cello Suites on bass clarinet.

Yea I remembered having to practice this piece when I learned it. Then I got to play it hundreds of times in my career.

What are the keys and neck made of on his bass? I don't think it's just the lighting. If the keys are some sort of composite or just coated with something, I don't think I've seen anything that looks like this.
