I have an audition piece here and there are numerous slurs and phrase markings but I'm starting to have trouble distinguishing them. how do I articulate the phrase markings and about what tempo should I play the piece? Thanks!

If you meant to attach a scanned copy of the music, it didn't make it. What piece is it and where are your questions specifically?

The slur is a phrase marking: all the notes belong to one idea or thought.
The articulations indicate the note are to be tongued. Often this is detache, a separated legato, or a long staccato (all the same thing).
Karl is correct: if you scan in the passage, more accurate advice could be provided.
