It looks like it's ok. (It was supposed to be ok to travel already.). Keep in mind that individual countries enforce the rules, so if you get an overzealous customs agent you could still have a problem. Take documentation: receipts for the purchase, a copy of the cites regulations exempting instruments, and the weight of the wood. Note: "Update", at top.
