Hi there! I'm trying to do a paper on the bass clarinet and was wondering if anyone could lead me in the direction of what is the first or one of the first concertos written or published for bass clarinet? I've got some books I've ordered that might help but would like to start looking into pieces now.
Bonus help, what are some notable bass clarinet concertos over the years?
Thanks so much for any help!

A discussion of bass clarinet concertos from 2004
http://test.woodwind.org/clarinet/BBoard/read.html?f=1&i=137050&t=136976
Others have been written since then.

There was also an article about early bass clarinets in The Clarinet in recent years that while explicitly about this, did mention several early solo works for bass clarinet.
