This is great info to have on hand if I get a Yammie....because I had read that they played quite sharp and were hard to get down to A440. But I don't know what a socket is, being unfamiliar with clarinets in general, and wouldn't moving something like that leave a gap where the "bottom" of it used to be if it is moved "higher?"
