Just saw a sale for a new Leblanc Serenade wood Bb clarinet with silver plated keys made in USA. Anyone know of this model.

It's LeBlanc's re-entry into the clarinet market, having sold their French physical holdings to Buffet, becoming a wholly-owned subsidiary of Conn-Selmer, and producing everything in their Kenosha, WI workshop/factory on their own. Julian Bliss is leading their clarinet line development at the moment.

So, when they say the bore is .577" complex, which part of it is actually .577"?

Yes, Leblanc and Backun parted ways awhile ago.

However, if you look at the Serenade, you can see where certain "influences" have remained.

 Go Leblanc!

Would like to see some professional grade clarinets made on this side of the pond.
