The bare facts about these clarinets seem to be that they are ABS plastic instruments for beginners that have been available from time to since as long ago as 2011. Apparently Ridenour stopped producing them at least partly because he wasn't satisfied with the appearance of the logo.
I don't know anyone who plays one and have never tried one myself. I would suggest that a potential buyer might want to compare the Accelerando against the composite Bliss clarinets, which have also been discontinued and now show up on Internet for $300.00 to $600.00. I would not buy either an Accelerando or a composite Bliss (or any other clarinet, for that matter) without extensive play testing.

Does anyone know if this instrument has the same design and keywork of the 576 model?

shmuelyosef,
I emailed Ted Ridenour concerning your question, but did not receive permission to reveal the entire response.
So, in trying to keep within the rules of the BB, the only response I believe I can give you to your question is...no.
For a more in depth response to your question, please email me directly.

Dan,
I would be interested in the whole story of the Accelerando. Since I bought it mostly to use in outdoor situaions involving "drop" potential, low cost was important and brand new factored in as well as Tom Ridenour's reputation.
The horn needed some adjustments, but in total I spent very little on it. I've played it in a number of rehearsals and performances and if I hadn't mentioned it, no one would have noticed.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Bob
