 Buffet B12
Author: Maruja

I have just bought a second hand Buffet B12 from a charity shop locally for what I think is a fair price. Its serial number is 493608 and is made of shiny plastic with no band on the bell. I wondered what sort of age it might be and would be grateful for any pointers. (I did read afterwards about about Chinese fakes, so was a bit concerned).
What intrigued me is a sticker in the case with the details of a highly esteemed London instrument repairer , which suggests that it has been well taken care of and that it is the genuine article.
It plays very nicely and will be fine for outdoor gigs...
Any information gratefully received....
