 Hi Everyone!

I am currently in the market to purchase an A clarinet and I stumbled across a few listings for an intermediate LeBlanc Noblet 45. To my knowledge, Noblet 45s were intermediate model Bbs, but I had never heard of them being in the key of A.

I'm a Buffet player so I'm not as familiar with the LeBlanc series of instruments. Has anyone ever heard of an intermediate Noblet 45 A? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Noblet clarinets were available in Eb, C, Bb, A and alto and bass, so one of the most comprehensive line-ups of intermediate model clarinets.

 Hi,
I have an old D.Noblet Artist A-clarinet. I use it only a few times, but I like that instrument. I can use my mouthpiece fom the Bb clarinet, because it`s also an old D.Noblet (still older). You know, not al instruments likes the same mp. So may be you have to find your mp with your cane for the A-clarinet.

I have a rare Leblanc Paris "Pete Fountain" edition pro Bb clarinet. It plays incredibly well and havent played a clarinet this good to date. To go with it, I found a new in box condition Pete Fountain Leblanc crystal mouthpiece. I will be reviewing the instrument and mouthpiece on my new youtube account in a few days so check out the video and my account for more cool stuff (my account name is Lukas Johnson and I have one vid of me reviewing a Kessler and sons low c bass clarinet. Probably better to look for the vid of me reviewing the bass instead of looking for my account first).

Musically yours,
Lukas Johnson

My LeBlanc Noblet Eb is a #45. It looks and plays much better than other "intermediate" clarinets that I've owned. My guess is that the #45 A Noblet is a very high quality instrument and well worth purchasing.
