 Heinrich Geuser-clarinetiste par excellence

I have, on occasion, raised the topic of great clarinetists of yesteryear (Leopold Wlach, Luigi Amodio). There seems to be very little information available on Heinrich Geuser. He is on all of those great recordings made with the Berlin Radio Orchestra under the direction of Fricsay. As he was also principal clarinetist with the Bayreuth Orchestra, he must also be on recordings that were made there in the fifties and sixties. He did quite a bit of solo work; the standard repertory and some 20th century pieces. An exemplary clarinetist. His tone is perhaps just a bit on the shrill side at times, but I think this is because the German clarinet isn't/wasn't as "recording-friendly" as the the French clarinet.
