 Little Russian Clarinet Parts

Does anyone know where I can get a transposed clarinet part for clarinet 1 for the last movement of Tchaikovsky Symphony #2. The original part is in C and I need to get a written out transposed part for a friend of mine. I know it's an easy transposition but my friend needs a written out part. Any help would be appreciated.

That particular movement is *not* an easy transposition. Send me your email address in a private email (my address is in my profile) and I'll send you a part I've done for myself.

Lucks Music sells transposed parts

Might as well get the 2nd part also, while you're at it.

Oh, come on!

The second movement is gorgeous. Personally, I prefer the earlier Tchaik symphonies to the later ones. More melodic and less brooding.

David, a lot of us can transpose without printed crib sheets. This particular movement with all of its chromatic meanderings was at the time just, to me, more work than it was worth.

Playing it on a C clarinet if you have one is, of course, even easier.

Thank you everyone for your comments. And thank you Karl for sending me a beautifully done transposition for both the first and second clarinet parts. I agree this symphony is a wonderful piece of music. And I also agree with Karl that transposing at sight is a bit tricky with all the chromatics and accidentals. It's so much easier with the printed transposition. Thanks again.
