 MP/Ligature matchmaking

Sooo recently I purchased a D'Addario H Ligature for Bass Clarinet! It says fitted for selmer mouthpiece but I neglected that small bit of info and decided to start using it with my Vandoren B44. When using my H Ligature my Altissimo suffers and doesn't respond properly. Do you think the ligature would be the problem??? Thank you

What ligature were you using before you bought the H? Did it respond better? If it did, there's your answer.

There's no one ligature that plays better than another on any given mouthpiece. Just like reeds or mouthpieces you have to try several to determine what works best for you not what the manufactures say.

Experiment. Use what works.
