What are the plating possibilities for keys other than nickel, silver and gold? Platinum? Rhodium? Do they bring any advantage?

Thanks

Theoretically you can plate keys with any non-reactive metal. You can also plate keys with alloys of various metals, such as "rose gold" for example. As far as advantages... silver looks pretty. The major advantage of dirrerent metals is that some tarnish less and don't cause bad allergic reactions for some people. Other than that it is mostly cosmetic. Plating won't change the tone of the instrument.

You can have chrome, black nickel or copper plating if you like.

While it's also a possibility, I wouldn't advise having cadmium plating.

You can also have keywork enamelled or coated with any colour lacquer you like.
