 pad sticking

One of the large pads on the lower joint of my R13 A, the G#/D# pad, keeps falling out.

Per my normal practice, I heat the metal cup from the outside (with a lighter or match) and then hold the cup closed for a time. It usually works. But in this case it works temporarily. I've done it three times, and it holds for the rest of that practice session, but falls out the next time I play. I think the pad itself is fine.

Reading older threads indicates probably more is required, like removing the key, cleaning out the cup, putting fresh adhesive in, etc. If I try this, I'll probably try to go with shellac, as it sounds more forgiving if my virgin attempt fails.

Anyone got a link for suitable shellac, or advice on where it can be gotten, or any other advice?
