I was browsing Walter's website and looked at his barrels page. This made me laugh so hard I almost forgot about my next student!

There's a huge list of positive attributes...and the last one is:
"Fits in your case."

(I've got a couple barrels myself that are of somewhat large girth that have required some unorthodox placement to fit in cases)

Me too...though I wouldn't be caught dead without them at any performance...have to practically sit on the clarinet case lid to fit them inside [wink]
