Rubbish? But it has "Perfect Sound."
Chinese clarinets have gotten to the point where the workmanship is acceptable but the intonation tends to be poor. This can be fixed by resizing tone holes but it is a difficult process. I would stay away.

Okay, the clarinet at that link certainly seems likely to be less than advertised, but the Chinese (he says, not being of the race) are capable of producing clarinets of all different quality, especially with noteworthy design and quality control like Tom Ridenour's, whose clarinets are well known for solid intonation despite being from there.
If Rubber is to be the material that replaces African hardwood for clarinet production, where better for clarinets to come from but a country which exports large amounts of rubber and manufactured product.
Perhaps Tom's wares are the quality exception.

Looks like a B12/E11 knock-off but in rosewood, so hardly going to last anyone for very long. Even if it is supplied with a pair of white cotton gloves.
Consider the implications of how and where they source the rosewood to make these instruments from as I doubt it's from a sustainable source as reputable companies would source their timber from.
It might as well be made from ivory, tiger bone or rhino horn as that's how unethical I consider these things to be.

I would stay away from these. First, there's no guarantee that they'll be even playable, and second, the wood will almost certainly warp quickly.
