Does anyone have any experience and/or information on Meyer Clarinet mouthpieces that they would be willing to share? I have used a Meyer 5 medium on alto sax for years and really enjoy it. I see that there are a few types of Meyers for B flat clarinet.

I saw in the net there're people who sell Meyer for clarinet... I think if they have the same chamber of saxophone they'll be ideal for jazz player... I never tried, i'm happy with my Jody Espina 7 and a random ligature

Thank you - I may try a Meyer on clarinet. Jody Jazz discontinued its clarinet mouthpieces a few years back, but they tell me they are working on a prototype and giving it high priority. I am interested in trying those when they become available. There is a company - ESM - that has a clarinet mp "MCK 1" that I'd like to try but I'm not sure where to find one.

They are or were made by Babbitt. Not sure if you can get them anymore. I've actually never seen one! The alto sax models still sell very well.

So, for a broad tone as desired in New Orleans jazz, I use a Meyer #8 and a Rico Royal #3 reed, to warm up. After that occurs, I use the same reed strength plus a Meyer #9 on the job.
Prior to that set-up I used a 5JB plus a Rico Royal 3&1/2 reed.
I'm pretty sure that I sound the same with all of these set-ups, but the Meyer combos are now part of the modus operandi, being in my mind, easier to blow.

You can also contact the American distributor for ESM products and Uebel clarinets, http://www.moe-bleichner.com in Georgia for the names of other retail sellers who might carry that mouthpiece.
