Hello everyone,
Was wondering if you could help me out. I would like to give a concert with a violist, (just clarinet and viola) and would like some suggestions of pieces that we could play or pieces that I could transcribe. Example, clarinet and bassoon, or viola/violin, etc.
Looking for a wide variety of styles and ethnicities...everything from baroque to modern to balkan, latin, russian, etc. etc.
I look forward to any suggestions!! Thank you so much

Bruch double concerto. Stunning.
I don't know if there's a piano transcription of the orchestra part, though. The parts for the soloists and orchestra are on IMSLP, though. Not sure why it doesn't show up in the index.

There is - published by Simrock.
Rebecca Clarke: Prelude, Allegro and Pastorale is a great piece.

And the Bruch Eight Pieces for Clarinet, Viola, and Piano are just so much fun to play.

Yes, especially on the Bruch 8 Pieces and the Clarke!
The Clarke ain't easy to put together, though, and needs accomplished players.
