I've got a Noblet 45 that I like pretty well.
Sound wise I have no complaints.
I've been eyeing a Noblet 45 "Artist" model on the internet.
I didn't pay much more than $200 for my current 45.
The "Artist" model is going for $600 and I would not have an opportunity to try before I buy.
Its been overhauled and looks quite nice.
Quick question would you think the Artist model would sound dramatically better than my plain 45?
If I was wowed it could be worth it, or in your opinion would both of these Horns sound about the same?
 Thank you for your insights!

Not a huge difference in playing qualities between the two horns. Nothing worth $400 at least. Maybe look for a Leblanc LL or Symphonie if you're looking to upgrade otherwise your current clarinet should be enough. Noblets are great horns by the way.

Given the subtle variances that naturally exist between clarinets of the same make in model, it's possible that your 45 could outplay a 45 Artist.

Since you already have a 45 that's working for you, I agree with jd: If you're going to spend the money, move up to a Leblanc. You could find a good fixer-upper LL, Dynamic H, or Classic for a few hundred, have it overhauled, and you'd have something better than a 45 Artist for about the same investment. It would be set up just the way you like it, too!
