John Ritchie Clarinet Concertino

Here is Michael Collins performing the John Ritchie Concertino- a great little "post war" composition by a New Zealand composer. [the orchestra is a regional "semi pro" orchestra down at the far south of NZ]. The American clarinettist Marina Sturm has recorded this work.
I've played this a few times, and once you get past the 1st page it's not too tricky and is very satisfying to perform (at the OU Clarinet Symposium in 2005 I bombed out on the first page- have heard this happen to another player, that made me feel a little better!).

That's from August 2015
ps- I've edited the original post, Jack Brymer does NOT mention the Ritchie in his book, I was confusing it with the Ken Wilson Concerto (which is shorter, nowhere near as well known, but still a tootin' good piece). Some time ago I posted a link on here to a recording of Ken playing his concerto.
John Ritchies son, Anthony Ritchie, is also a very successful composer and has written a great double concerto for bass clarinet and cello
