I have a 60's era B&H Imperial Eb and I really don't like the mouthpiece, which is the original.
I bought a Vandoren B45 and I love it but I can't use it on this clarinet. The sound, response etc is fantastic but the mouthpiece tenon is too long for the barrel hence one very flat Eb.
I'm considering a backun barrel of the correct length.
I find the B&H mouthpiece is better (but still not great) with Bb reeds and the B45 is great with either type.
Any suggestions for other mouthpieces/barrels which may suit.

You have to test. Mouthpiece and barrel selection has a tremendous impact on the Eb's tuning.

A good tech can easily adjust the size of your B45 mouthpiece if that's what you want.
Generally the B&H Eb Imperial works best with an original mouthpiece. Why not have it relayed by one of the specialist pros on this board.

B&H clarinets usually need a larger bore mouthpiece than one can purchase "stock" off the shelf. You will probably need to contact specialists, for custom made product. Same with the barrel.

You say the mouthpiece tenon is too long. If so, the solution is simple: get a hacksaw and remove the required amount. You'll get a ragged bottom to the mouthpiece: this can either be ignored (as it's invisible while playing) or made smooth with a bit of sandpaper. It's not a big deal to make this adjustment.
As for whether the B45 bore is too small compared to what the Imperial was designed for, making the bore bigger would tend to lower the pitch further - so reaming it out wouldn't be the solution, even if you had someone capable of doing that.
