The father of one of my colleagues studied with David Pino back in the early 70s. Is Mr Pino still alive? Does anybody know how a former student might be able to get in contact with him? Thanks and merry Christmas!

As far as I know, David Pino is alive and well. He retired from Texas State University a few years ago. I communicated with him about five years ago, but he was still an active faculty member at the time. Contact the Texas State School of Music, and they can probably help you get in touch.
