The coming week we will perform Martin Fröst's new album "Roots" live in Stockholm. He recorded it with us in August this year. It's in many ways a magic album. It's so far away from just "clarinet."

"we" is the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. Pity you can't access the link :-(

To me, this seems like the point at which Fröst really crosses over to the level of "artist" rather than "interpreter". I'm looking forward to hearing the whole album to see if my expectations are met. Either way, I'm sure it's going to be a great "clarinet" album.

Yes, it's the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic. I'm sorry too that you can't access the link. I'll post it again if I know it will be worldwide. I have no idea why it is not.

Holy crap, you play in that group? Clarinet?? You must have to be a kick-ass player to get to be in a group that sounds like that!

Dollhouse video is marvelous! Frost is just as prepossessing as a conductor as he is on the clarinet! Bravi tutti!
