Looked through the first four - not bad.

I take issue with the idea that the position of the mouthpiece in your mouth is a matter of comfort, or rather an arbitrary point. It really is quite dependent on the length of the lay and their is one ideal spot on a particular mouthpiece for the embouchure of that one particular person.

Of course Emma Thompson did also recommend the squishy thumb rest (looks like the Protec Gel model)........so I forgive her.

Afraid I was not very impressed with the bits I watched. Definitions were very skimpy especially on lip and embouchure. Lip over lower teeth? how much? how do you tell what is right for you etc.

And in the first video where she assembles the clarinet grasping hands all over the keywork she is doing everything I advise young (and no so young) players to avoid.

Problem is that with her profile amongst younger inexperienced players they will be inclined to assume that she must be the expert in all these matters!

Not bad for an actress though.

Ha, ha! Just referring to my earlier faux Paul.

I wouldn't really expect much at all from her for basics.
