I was just given a C clarinet and would very much appreciate any info someone could give me. C.G. Conn Elkhart Indiana. barrel has words " trade mark" under what might be an eagle. Serial number C95xxxL. I know it is a wooden clarinet with silver keys. Thanks for any replies.

According to the serial number, that would be a 1907 or 8 model. The L likely means LP.

Go to saxophone.org. Under the Saxophone Museum tab, go to Publications. There are lots of old Conn catalogs there. Have fun!

Thanks for the reply. Im not sure if it is low pitch. My regular Bb mouthpiece fits, some notes are in tune while others are 10-20 cents flat.

What type of mouthpiece? You might need something a little different to play closer in tune- I've been playing a vintage Selmer HS* and it seems to be on the sharper pitched side compared to most others I have, so maybe worth a try.

Its a Backun refaced by Brad Behn. I will try it with different mouthpieces when I get a chance. Thanks.

Just a suggestion of a commonly available mouthpiece that plays a little higher for me. I wish you luck on your search, the L definitely stands for low pitch on these. I have a old C.G. Conn A with the same type serial scheme and have seen many Conns at auction that conform to it.
