Plastic Buescher basses are indeed Bundys, so a Bundy pad set will be fine for them.
One area on basses which you won't encounter on regular soprano clarinets is the speaker mechanism which relies on the left thumb plate being open or closed to determine which vent on the back of the top joint is open at any one point - if you're competent with sax 8ve mechanisms, then this should pose no problems for you.
The speaker key itself is only there to keep the vent keys closed, so you can either leave the speaker key off or wedge it down to check the thumb plate pad and the vent pads are operating correctly (then refit it or release it when you're satisfied). The small plastic rocker mounted on the end of the speaker key is there to apply equal pressure to close both the speaker and throat Bb vents when the speaker key is released.
