I am looking at a evette wood clarinet to purchase for my daughter. It says made in germany serial number 51462w. The seller says it a e11 not sure.I am trying to get her a good wood clarinet to move up to. I have been trying to find serial number in lists available but have not have any luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Knotty,
The link you gave was for the Evette and Schaefer clarinet. I believe the OP was referring to the plain old Evette clarinet.
This is most likely the Evette clarinet the OP was referring to:

Be warned that while an Evette clarinet is SIMILAR to an e11 the e11 is in fact a much better instrument. There are many other options such as a Noblet or Normandy clarinet that would be equal to or better than an e11 for a much lower price. Don't be afraid to shop around and let your daughter try a few different instruments. Hope this helps

The name Evette doesn't insure that it is a good clarinet. It may be worn out, both in terms of the keys and the acoustics.

An E12-F would be a much better choice.
Pay a clarinet teacher to help you select an in instrument.
