They should NOT be $150-200. Whoever said that is trying to rip you off. Honestly I wouldn't buy another B12 barrel. Try looking at some aftermarket barrels like those from Chadash, Fobes, Muncy Backun and others. Not only will they DRAMATICALLY improve the sound and tuning of the instrument they will also be still useful if you decide to upgrade your clarinet. If you insist on sticking with Buffet their new Icon Barrels are pretty good. For $85 you could get a Studio Backun Fatboy or MOBA (Studio is just means there was a very minor cosmetic thing wrong with the barrel, the acoustics are still amazing).

For that much money you could even consider a used step-up clarinet. Below is a list of good candidates.
