so much for all the speculation

They picked someone who has a post in Germany.

I am catching up on this conductor as I type.

He seems comfortable in opera and more contemporary sounds (from what I'm catching on YOUTUBE). Mostly though I see excerpts, but here is a nice (not so well known) little ditty:
