I've got an old clarinet. How old, you may ask? Good question. It's a Leblanc. The serial number looks like this 2
7026
The emblem on front top has a CB above it. The emblem down below does not. Both "pieces" have the serial number on them but the bottom piece does not have the "2" above the 7026. The mouthpiece cover is a Selmer chrome and the ligature is a flextone. Case is Leblanc also. Wood clarinet of course. On the back above the octave key is US Patent (not pending) 4926489 If you look up the number it is NOT a clarinet. Well that is best that I can describe it. Anybody have any idea of age? All the websites only start at 1964. I'm sure it was made before then. HELP? Thanks

It is probably from the early 1950s.
In the emblem the name G Leblanc is probably all in one line. By the late 50s the G was placed above the Leblanc.
The mouthpiece etc will be irrelevant as virtually all players will chose one to suit themselves and discard the one that came with the instrument.

I have a Leblanc 176, made in 1949. It also has that mysterious patent info, same number, and I don't know why since it was made in France. Its serial number is 75xx, so apparently is a little newer than yours, if in fact the same model.
Do you have any pictures?
