 tips for reed maintenance

Hello,

I usually play the clarinet for 4 hours every day, but I don't go through more than 10 boxes of reeds in a year. Since many of my friends and colleagues use many more reeds and continue to complain about their reeds, I thought I would compile my strategies for maintaining my reeds in a new blog post.

Hopefully, someone can find something helpful here so that they don't need to spend so much money on reeds. You can read about my tips below:

I like the seasonal strategy.


Gosh if there are folks out there going through significantly more reeds a year......there is a problem.
