Where did the Reserves go?

I'm noticing that Rico Reserve Clarinet reeds (of any line) are hard to find right now. Was the line bought out by D'addario? Their "reserve" line looks very similar. I very much liked the Rico Reserves, if there has been a re-brand, is the quality the same?

I believe it to be more than rebranded (which by the way is the word Tyler may have intended when what I am going to presume was some autocorrect device may have changed a word of his to "reprimanded" above.)

I'm to understand D'Addario put a lot of money and effort into making the reeds even better, and I am a happy user or both the Classic and non-Classic D'Addario brands--personally preferring the Classic. I prefer them over the similar lines originally branded under the Rico name, although I liked those too: just not as much.

The bboard's David Blumberg was part of the testing and may know more. He raved about these new reeds early on and I was skeptical of his early praise given his connections to the product, but tried them and realized his accolades to be well founded. IMHO most (at least of this writing) play right out of the box and are incredibly consistent.

Weiner Music offers "free" sample packs of either D'Addario product line for trial, with purchase of a regular order from them..limit 1 per customer while supplies last
